Frequently asked questions
Is my financial data safe?
Everything travels over HTTPS. Receipt photos sit in private storage and are only opened through short-lived links. Every access to financial data checks profile membership, so Family or Business members never see your other profiles. Your data is not sold or used for ads.
Which AI reads the receipts?
Gemini by Google is the main reader, with Claude by Anthropic as a backup. Voice notes are read by Gemini only. Only what you send is shared: the compressed receipt image without location or photo metadata, the PDF, the text, or the recording, and only after you agree. Data sent through their APIs is not used to train their models.
How do I install it on iPhone or Android?
Open app.finensia.com. On Android (Chrome), tap the ⋮ menu, then "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". On iPhone (Safari), tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen". Finensia then opens like any other app.
What is an AI credit?
Credits are used each time AI reads an entry: a 1-photo receipt uses 2, a 2–3-photo receipt 3, a PDF e-receipt 2, a voice note 2, and a typed note 1. If the AI fails to read it, the credits are refunded. Manual entries never use credits.
What if I want to stop?
There is no required subscription. Credit packs are a one-time payment. Storage plans can be cancelled any time and run until the end of the period. Export your transactions to CSV, then delete your account and all its data from the Account menu.
